Field trips depart from the Center for Urban Horticulture (CUH) parking lot.
Trip One: Saturday April 5, 2008 The Urban and Suburban Gradient: Seattle and Bellevue
Trip Two: Saturday, April 19, 2008 The Suburban and Exurban Gradient: Mountains to Sound Greenway
Two all-day field trips during the quarter. One trip will cover the urban/suburban and exurban landscapes. The other trip will cover the production and wildland landscapes. Examples of places and policies discussed include the following;

Trip Report: Thursday, April 24, 2008 Compare one or more field trip sites with the site you have selected for your group project. Group collaboration allowed, but the written report is to be your individual work. One to three pages, double-spaced. The comparison of your term project site with relevant sites we have discussed in class will be part of your term report grade.
